Summer Season Mosquito Plan
QS Lawn & Pest also offers a season-long maintenance plan. The summer season plan is great for the family's that spend a lot of time outside. This plan can save you money and help you be proactive in your fight against mosquitoes.
- Property is treated every 3-4 weeks during the summer months
Event Service
QS Lawn & Pest offers mosquito treatments for one-time events, such as weddings, parties, birthdays etc. For the Event Service, we recommend treating the property 2-3 days prior the the event.
Summer Season & Event Service Protocol
- Inspection of property
The technician will be conducting a thorough inspection of the property to determine what areas of the property that needs to be treated and how. The inspection will also look for different issues the property has that may be attracting mosquitoes.
- Application
With a backpack mister, the technician will treat shrubbery, trees, and other areas of the property where mosquitoes rest.
- Larvicide
The Technician will be treating an areas of the property with standing water with a larvicide. This will prevent any mosquito larvae from maturing into adults.
These treatments also reduce flea, ticks, gnats, and chiggers.
How to Help Eliminate Mosquito Breeding Sites
- Frequently check the yard for items that can hold water and dump them out
- Children's toys, buckets, bird baths etc.
- Clean gutters frequently and make sure they are not clogged
- Make sure any sprinklers are not over watering and leaving standing water
- Check any air conditioner lines, pipes or faucets for leaks
- Fill in any tree holes or old tree stumps with a sealant or mortar to prevent water accumulation
